Publishing
One complete build, everywhere.
Publishing is atomic. Every visitor receives one complete build of your site, and if an update fails, your previous version stays live.
Your domain
Your domain. Two DNS records.
Connect a subdomain such as www.yourbusiness.com. Add two records at your own DNS provider and we do the rest.
- A CNAME routes the subdomain and stays in place.
- A TXT record proves ownership. It is unique to your request, and you can remove it after verification.
- We obtain and renew the security certificate. Verification and the certificate are reported as two separate facts.
- You keep your domain, your registrar and your DNS provider. You never move the domain, create a Cloudflare account, or change nameservers.
What you maintain
No servers. No plugins. Nothing to patch.
A published site has no per-site servers and no server-side functions. There is nothing running for you to look after.
While you connect it
Your site stays online throughout.
Every site gets a Sixerr address the moment you publish. It keeps serving until your custom domain is fully active.
- Nothing goes dark while the records are checked and the certificate is issued.
- Remove the custom domain later and the site falls back to its Sixerr address.

- The routing record. It points your subdomain at us, and it stays in place for as long as the domain is connected.

- The ownership challenge. It is unique to your request, and you can remove it once verification is done.
- Certificate
- We obtain the security certificate and renew it. There is nothing for you to install or track.
- Enquiries from your contact form are sent from Sixerr’s verified sending domain, so your own email setup stays as it is.
- No servers

Do I need my own hosting?
No. Hosting is included in each live site’s plan. Your site is served from Cloudflare’s global network, and there are no servers or plugins for you to maintain.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Connect a subdomain such as www.yourbusiness.com by adding two DNS records at your current provider. You keep your domain, your registrar and your DNS provider.
Can I use my bare domain, yourbusiness.com?
No. Bare domains are not supported. Connect a subdomain such as www.yourbusiness.com instead. The setup is the same two DNS records.
Who handles the security certificate?
We do. We obtain it and renew it. Verification and the certificate are reported as two separate facts, so you always know which step you are waiting on.
What happens if a publish fails?
Your previous version stays live and the chat says so. Every visitor always receives one complete build, so a failed update never leaves a half-updated site.
